How it works
Useful German phrases for your first room
Say these out loud. Nobody minds mistakes: everyone in the room is learning too.
- Wie geht’s?how are you?
- Kannst du das bitte wiederholen?can you repeat that, please?
- Wie sagt man… auf Deutsch?how do you say… in German?
- Ich lerne noch Deutsch.I’m still learning German
Tip for German learners
Practise putting the verb at the end in sentences with “weil” and “dass”. Saying it aloud a few times in conversation makes it automatic.
